The door-type scaffold, also known as the portal scaffold or portal scaffolding, is a standardized steel pipe scaffolding system with a main frame shaped like a "door", which is widely used in construction projects.
1. Basic composition and principle:
The door-type scaffold consists of a basic unit with the core components of a door frame, cross braces, connecting rods, hook-type scaffold boards (or horizontal frames), and locking arms.
By adding auxiliary components such as horizontal reinforcement rods, diagonal braces, and bottom horizontal tubes, and rigidly connecting them to the main structure of the building through wall-linking elements, a stable three-level support structure is formed.
Its base is usually designed to be adjustable to correct horizontal deviations.
