Heat-resistant polyethylene (PE-RT) pipes for hot and cold water are commonly abbreviated as PE-RT in English. PE-RT resin is a medium-density ethylene-octene copolymer formed by copolymerizing ethylene monomer and octene monomer. Its narrow molecular weight distribution and special molecular structure, where octene is evenly distributed on the polymer backbone, not only retain the original hygienic properties and processing performance of PE, but also enhance high-temperature durability. PE-RT also features easy bending, no deformation, and no rebound, making it an ideal pipe material for floor heating.
Product Features
1. Lightweight, good impact resistance, easy and reliable installation. PE-RT pipe is lightweight, with a specific gravity of only 1/8 of metal pipes. It is easy to handle, can be connected by hot melting, and is safe and reliable, without the worry of water leakage.
2. It possesses excellent flexibility and toughness. Its bending radius can be as small as five times the outer diameter of the pipeline. It is convenient and quick to lay, and during construction, methods such as coiling and bending can be employed to reduce the usage of pipe fittings, thereby lowering construction costs.
3. No rebound upon bending. When the pipeline is bent, the stress in the bent part can be quickly relaxed, without the occurrence of rebound phenomenon, thus avoiding the damage to the pipeline at the bend caused by stress concentration during use.
4. The inner wall is smooth, resulting in low water flow resistance.
5. Good low-temperature resistance. PE-RT has a low brittle temperature and excellent low-temperature resistance, making it suitable for floor heating installation even in winter, and no preheating is required when bending the pipes.
6. Good chemical resistance and long service life. Under the condition of low-temperature hot water floor heating, the pipeline can be safely used for at least 50 years.
7. Good impact resistance and high safety.
8. Excellent heat dissipation performance. PE-RT boasts excellent heat dissipation performance, with a thermal conductivity of 0.4W/M.k. In heating applications, it can enhance heat transfer efficiency and significantly conserve energy.
9. Non-toxic and with good hygienic performance. This product has undergone rigorous testing and fully meets the national drinking water standard requirements, making it suitable for use in drinking water and food industry pipeline systems.
10. Environmentally friendly and recyclable, it does not pollute the environment and does not cause secondary pollution.
11. It has a long service life, good environmental adaptability, and excellent chemical corrosion resistance. The normal service life of the pipeline is over 50 years.
Product Usage
1. PE-RT floor heating pipes are suitable for residential buildings, villas, hotels, restaurants, office buildings, shopping malls, hospitals, theaters, classrooms, libraries, exhibition halls, conference rooms, swimming pools, entertainment venues, etc.
2. PE-RT floor heating pipes can also be used in industrial fields such as greenhouses, flower houses, computer rooms, fish farms, nurseries, livestock farms, airports, as well as outdoor stations, parking lots, and outdoor sports on slopes for snow melting projects.
3. Building cold and hot water supply, pipeline drinking water system.
4. Fluid conveying pipeline fields such as beverages, alcohol, and milk in the food industry.
