PP pipes and fittings are pipeline systems produced primarily from random copolymer polypropylene in accordance with GB/T18742. Polypropylene can be classified into three categories: PP-H (homopolymer polypropylene), PP-B (block copolymer polypropylene), and PP-R (random copolymer polypropylene). Due to its long-term resistance to static hydraulic pressure, long-term heat and oxygen aging resistance, and advantages in processing and molding, PP-R has become the material of choice for producing polypropylene pipes for cold and hot water applications that meet a 50-year service life.
1. Corrosion-resistant and scale-free: PP-R pipes have excellent corrosion resistance, do not form scale, and do not breed bacteria, eliminating concerns about pipe blockage caused by scaling and yellow rust stains in sinks and bathtubs.
2. Non-toxic and good hygiene: This product has been strictly tested and fully meets national drinking water standards, making it suitable for use in drinking water and food industry piping systems.
3. High temperature resistance and good insulation performance: The softening temperature of PP-R pipes is 131.5℃. Under the allowable long-term operating pressure, they can transport hot water with temperatures up to 70℃. This product also has good insulation properties, with a thermal conductivity approximately 1/200 that of metal pipes, reducing heat energy loss during hot water transport.
4. Smooth inner wall, low water flow resistance: The inner wall of the PP-R pipe is smooth, with low water flow resistance and large flow capacity. Compared with metal pipes of the same inner diameter, it can increase the flow rate by more than 30%.
5. High mechanical strength: PP-R pipes have good toughness, impact resistance, and high mechanical strength, making them particularly suitable for use in low and high-temperature environments.
6. Lightweight, easy to install, and reliable: PP-R pipes weigh only 1/8 of metal pipes, making them easy to handle. They use heat fusion connections, which are fast and leak-free.
