Atlas Vacuum Pump lubricating oil

Atlas vacuum pump oil comes in several specialized types such as 12,000 hours, 8,000 hours, and 4,000 hours. These oils are mainly configured based on the on-site working conditions and production needs. Depending on the usage time, the additives in the oil products vary.

Elements for lubricating oil replacement

Air compressor oils of different brands and grades must not be mixed.

When changing, the old engine oil needs to be drained completely. It is strictly prohibited to adopt the methods of adding or filtering and reusing. Although the color of the air compressor oil appears unchanged on the surface, the consumption of additives may have exceeded the limit.

If there is not much sludge in the engine oil, fill it with half of the new oil, run it for 15 to 60 minutes, drain it completely, and then refill it with new oil and run it normally. If there is too much sludge and carbon deposits in the air compressor oil, the oil cylinder can be disassembled and the sludge and carbon deposits removed manually. Then, it can be cleaned with a special cleaning agent. However, after cleaning, it should be dried with dry air. After that, add cleaning oil and clean for 100 to 200 hours. Then, drain the cleaning oil and add new oil to operate normally. Otherwise, it may not only damage the performance of oil additives, but also lead to safety accidents.

When changing the engine oil, the oil bypass filter (air filter element), oil filter, oil-gas separator, filter element, etc. should be replaced simultaneously. Check whether the air filter, check valve, temperature control alarm, etc. are in good condition.
