The turbine rotor rotates in the order shown in Figure 1-23-4. Air is drawn into the space between the turbine stator and the turbine rotor. The volume of the crescent-shaped (point-symmetrical) compression chamber gradually decreases, and the compressed air is discharged from the exhaust port in the center.
