1. Filter Screen: Removes dust, oil, and other impurities from the air through physical barriers, preventing them from entering the compressor and causing damage, while also reducing equipment maintenance frequency. For example, a multi-stage filtration system can remove over 95% of moisture and particulate matter, ensuring stable operation of pneumatic equipment. Types include pre-filters, medium-efficiency filters, and high-efficiency filters.
2. Air Filter: Some systems only install the filter element, not the entire assembly.
3. Inlet Valve: Consists of the valve body, rotary check valve, butterfly valve, and control cylinder.
4. Main Unit: The core component of the entire system, its main function is to provide stable, high-quality compressed air for industrial equipment.
5. Check Valve: A check valve is a valve that allows fluid to flow only through the inlet, but prevents backflow of the medium at the outlet. It is also called a check valve or non-return valve. It is used to prevent reverse flow of oil in hydraulic systems or compressed air in pneumatic systems. Check valves include direct-acting and right-angle valves. Direct-acting check valves are installed on the pipeline. Right-angle check valves come in three forms: threaded connection, plate connection, and flange connection.
6. Gas Storage Tank: Vertical gas storage tanks generally have baffles, while horizontal gas storage tanks generally do not.
7. Oil-Gas Separator: An oil-gas separator is a device that separates crude oil produced by an oil well from the accompanying natural gas. The oil-gas separator is placed between the submersible centrifugal pump and the protector, separating free gas from the well fluid. The liquid is sent to the submersible centrifugal pump, and the gas is released into the annular space of the tubing and casing.
8. Minimum Pressure Valve: The minimum pressure valve consists of a valve body, valve core, adjusting nut, spring, sealing elements, etc.
9. Aftercooler: The temperature of the compressed air output from the air compressor can reach 180℃. At this temperature, the moisture in the air is completely gaseous. The function of the aftercooler is to cool the high-temperature air at the air compressor outlet to below 40℃, condensing a large amount of water vapor and deteriorated oil mist into liquid droplets for removal.
10. Steam-Water Separator: The steam-water separator is a pressure vessel structure made of carbon steel or stainless steel. It must be installed on horizontal pipes with the drain outlet pointing vertically downwards. All diameter steam-water separators are equipped with mounting brackets to reduce the load on the pipes. To ensure rapid discharge of the separated liquid, a suitable steam trap should be connected to the drain outlet at the bottom of the steam-water separator. This valve should generally be installed horizontally in the pipe.
11. Outlet Valve: The outlet valve is a component that isolates and shuts off the pump from the system during flow regulation, start-up, and shutdown maintenance.
These components together constitute the core structure of the screw compressor's gas circuit system, ensuring full-process control of gas purification, compression, cooling, and stable supply.
